The Volcano Visitors Box!
Want to visit the new eruption site in the near future? Well, we collected a few things into a discount box that might be of assistance! A large map of the area, a great photography book that shows you the actual eruption and every stage of it, some snacks for the hike, hot chocolate and our very own Best of Reykjavík Guide for the quality time before and after the hike!
This brand new book (published in December 2021) is self published by the Belgian born Jeroen Van Nieuwenhove. It offers a uniquely personal perspective of his journeys to the volcano as he made 44 visits and was there the day the eruption started and also witnessed the very end.
Breathtaking photography accompanied by fun little diary like inputs from the photographer.

Very good snack to take on a hike! It's rich in protein and energy and super light to bring with in a backpack.
More snack to take with to the volcano. This one is packed with energy for the way back! Lovely vanilla cream biscuits that Icelanders just love! Go especially well with hot chocolate!
You will need a place to stay, a place to eat, a place to drink and dance even! So here is
