Shipping policy
SHIPPING
1. All apparel, mugs and posters are shipped from our partners in Europe and USA and are made on demand. We do this to lower your shipping and to be able to offer a larger selection of sizes and colors. The orders are shipped when ready from the producers, the fulfillment services for these products are in the USA and around Europe.
2. Other products we sell are shipped from Iceland. If a customer orders an item of clothing and a curated box for example they will receive TWO SHIPMENTS.
3. Shipments up to 1.5 kg with DHL cost the same.
4. Import tax is added in each country and is not included in the price. Iceland is not part of European Custom Union so import tax is added from the shipment provider and is NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE. For orders to the USA the import tax is not added if the orders is below $800. For orders to Iceland addresses, the tax is included - except for orders for apparel, posters or mugs - those are shipped to Iceland from mainland Europe.
5. If you chose to ship via Iceland Post, shipments take longer than DHL (6-28 days). For the Iceland Post's "Premium Exprés" shipments, the price stays the same up to 2kg. This shipment option is available to USA, UK, Netherlands, Israel, China, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Germany, Belgium, Norway, Ireland, France and Canada.
All orders from Iceland are delivered with either Íslandspóstur (Iceland Post) or DHL and the delivery, transportation and insurance terms are defined by those companies, respectively. Iceland Post is most often the cheaper, but slower option.
The Reykjavík Grapevine is thereby not responsible for damage during delivery. The Reykjavík Grapevine is not responsible for any damage during transportation to the buyer. To secure yourself against that, chose the appropriate delivery method and/or purchase insurance.
