"Why all them boxes have books in 'em? We don't like books, especially not about some weird Yule dudes and child eating Christmas cats! Can't we just get a discount box filled to the brim with chocolates?"

Freyja - Christmas Milk Chocolate with Tangerine pearls

Nothing more to say about this than that it's 100 grams of milk chocolate with sweet pieces of tangerine pearls inside. Delicious and Christmasy.

"Villiköttur" is a well known Icelandic chocolate bar and this is the Christmas version of it. Jólaköttur or the Yule Cat! Might sound all cute and cozy but read up on the Icelandic myth of the Yule Cat in this book.
Nóa Konfekt - Malt og Appelsín

Góa Yulebag (mixed candy) 150 g.
A little bag of a Christmas themed candy mix in line with the Icelandic (and Scandinavian) love of mixed candy. If you are on location in Scandinavia, you can find stores that sell mixed candy, where the customers pick the candy they like and then pay by weight. This is basically the Christmas version of that, but pre-packed in a bag, because you're not in Scandinavia.
Includes chocolate bars, caramels, toffies, gummies and chocolate raisins

Classic Icelandic treat that comes in sugarcoated almond shape caramel! Unique, festive and nice.
Even though Möndlur means almonds / nuts there are no one in these sweeties, we are just talking about the shape.

Christmas Chocolate with Rum Caramel
While in the past few years, the Christmas themed chocolate offerings from Nói Síríus have never ventured far from the surprising and strange, this year they've settled on something that is actually very Christmas-y. We're happy, and hope you are too.

And lastly, because it seemed to be missing from this Icelandic Christmas Candy experience, there is a little liquorice. Djúpur has a soft, slightly salted liquorice centre surrounded by chocolate and then a crisp white shell. This Christmas version has a peppermint shell on the outside for a Christmassy taste. Yet another crowdpleaser by the Freyja team who has made Djúpur an international sensation!
