Hraun (Chocolate Lava Bar)

‘Hraun’ means ‘Lava,’ and this bar is shaped as though a chocolate-spouting volcano erupted over a wafer-field of puffed rice and maize starch (That’s probably how it’s advertised, anyway). The texture is rough, and bits and pieces of puffed rice pop out like a bits of a lava field. 

Ingredients:

Sugar, cocoa butter, cocoa liquor, flour, milk powder, rice (rice, sugar, salt, malted barley), hydrogenated vegetable fat (coconut- and palm kernel oil), palm kernel oil, starch, leavening agents (E500, E503), emulsifiers (E322 from soy), rapeseed oil, vanillin.

Could contain traces of hazelnuts, almonds and coconuts.
