Wow - I'm used to thick fleece headbands. I find some wool products itchy against my skin if I overheat. I decided to test out Icelandic wool by buying this headband - couldn't resist the Made in Iceland design! I was able to test it out at 15F/-9C with a wind. Warm as toast, forehead and ears stayed completely covered and snug. After walking for awhile, I was actually a bit sweaty and itchy. That headband is serious cold protection. I look forward to wearing it when it really gets cold, at temperatures the fleece is not up to the job.

I purchased this headband while in Iceland 4 years ago. My new puppy destroyed it last month. I was SO happy and relieved to find the same headband online! It is itchy but I just love it snd it brings back many great memories!
