Even though the lava at Fagradalsfjall might seem solid and cooled down, don't walk on the lava yet! There could be liquid 1250°C hot lava just under the crust! The stream of lava can change quickly so don't take any chances, especially while the eruption is unstable. Infrared cameras show that there are "lava rivers" running under the thin crust of solid lava and you don't want to step into one of those!
To get out the message get this t-shirt made by our very own Lóa Hjálmtýsdóttir! And keep off the lava please...

When the grapevine friends asked me for a review, I opened the link and hit the wrong star. Somehow my browser was slow, and my brain even more. That's because I checked my email just after breakfast, but before having my morning coffee. So, here is my correction: five stars, not two. Two times five stars, and more - that's how great the T-Shirt is. Lesson learned: Only write a review AFTER morning coffee, never before. To quote Grapevine's wisdom: "It Is What It Is" - I ordered that T-Shirt as well. If you read this, do it too.
Each time I travel from the US to Europe often, I fly with Icelandair via Keflavik. So there you have it: I keep watching Reykjavik Grapevine and simply cannot NOT have a volcano T-Shirt! To my surprise, it came shipped from California - at certainly lower cost than if it were sent from Reykjavik:-) The T-shirt wears extremely comfortable, and, more importantly, it stays in shape in the washing machine. I bought two more together with my own for my sister and brother in law, who had planned to vacation in Iceland in the summer of this year, but have postponed their travel until 2022. Last not least: people look bemused at me in my Keep Off The Lava T-Shirt, and sometimes they ask what it is about - upon which there follows a lively conversation about Iceland. Cheers from Boston!
Fits lovely, my son loves it. Thanks
