Fantastic crispy crunch and mild taste of coal, goes very well with all fried and barbecued food.
The salt is very decorative and resembles the Icelandic black lava and refers to the use of environmentally friendly geothermal energy in the drying process

Awesome! Thank you. Keep enjoying :)
I tried this for the first time recently and I'll be back for more when it runs out.
yeah, it adds a certain "ég veit ekki hvað" to almost any dish.
Last time I was in Iceland, I brought some Black Lava salt home to Scotland and loved it. My brother brought me some when he visited too which made me very happy as I love using it. I even bought a new salt grinder especially for it. When I saw that The Grapevine was selling it, I was really happy as I didn't know how I would keep my supply going otherwise. Every time I use it, I think of Iceland which makes me very happy indeed!
