Stekkjastaur!
Staur is chocolate bar long enjoyed by the Icelanders and this is an X-mas version of it in honor of our first of thirteen santa's to arrive from the mountains: Stekkjastaur!
The story of the Icelandic Santa's or Yule Lads as they are more commonly known is long and complicated so if you want to read up on that here is a book on the subject.
Allergens: The product contains trace amounts of milk, wheat flour and liquorice. The product may contain trace amounts of nuts. Contains liquorice – Individuals with high blood pressure should consume it in moderation
Ingredients:
Sugar, cocoa butter, wheat flour, glucose syrup, cocoa mass, whole milk, stabiliser (starch (from potatoes or corn)), egg albumen crystals, vegetable fat (palm kernel oil, palm oil (from sustainable cultivation RSPO)), pasteurized egg yolk, emulsifier (rapeseed lecithin), salt, gelling agent (gelatine), enzyme (invertase), flavourings, raising agent (sodium bicarbonate). Chocolate contains a minimum of 52% cocoa solids. May contain traces of nuts, sulphite and sesam. Store dry and cool (15-20°C; 60-70°F).
